Staff Orientation Programme (2017-2018)
Nirankari Baba Gurbachan Singh Memorial College organized a Staff orientation programme on 02nd August 2017 in New Campus. The main objective of this programme was to build positive relationship with the staff and give guidance, support and sense of belongingness.
The event was presided over by Rev. M.C. Nagpal ji (President, NBGSM College) in presence of other guests Rev. S.C. Talwar ji (Additional Member Incharge-Education) and Rev. Vinod Babbar ji (Treasurer, NBGSM College).
Members of the management welcomed the guest speakers with bouquets of flowers as a token of respect. This was followed by giving out the details of the schedule for the day by Dr. Rita Ahuja. Four resource speakers spoke on various aspects. Dr. Ashok Diwakar presented his views on “Teaching skills and motivation” by sharing various case studies. Mrs. Raman Manhas enlightened the audience on the “Effective use of learning space” and by highlighting the mission and vision of the college. Mrs. Anju Dhall presented her views on “Beyond Studies” by highlighting different teaching methodologies. Mr. Sanjay Sharma took a session on “Life Management” in which he mentioned about how the perception of life differs from person to person and how to manage it effectively. The orientation programme concludes with a vote of thanks by Mr. R.S. Manhas.
The orientation session was an enriching and learning experience and will always be remembered.
